TIMOTHY & VITA VASHCHYSHYN
Tim Vashchyshyn is the lead pastor of ICA Kyiv. His passion to serve began with youth ministry as he was finishing his graduate studies in missions and theology at Continental Theological Seminary in Brussels, Belgium. Along with his wife Vita, they continue building relationships both in suburbs and the city. Pastor Tim has been on staff since 2020 and became lead pastor of the church in 2022.
TETIANA SOZNASHVILI
Tanya has been working as Administrator since 2014 and currently as Office Manager of ICA Kyiv. She is from Kyiv, Ukraine. She has a heart for Ukraine and its people. Tanya loves to organize outreaches and projects to show God’s love to people through the practical help from the church. Loves food and coffee.
MARKUS & HELEN WOLF
Markus and Helen have been pastoring the children of ICA since 2008. They love to help kids meet Jesus and grow in their relationship with Him. They have a passion for reaching orphans and evangelizing the lost. Markus is from Bridgman, Michigan and Helen is from Kyiv, Ukraine. They have a beautiful daughter, Olivia, who really likes fuzzy animals, especially dogs.
LINDA & EDMUND SCHLAK
Linda Schlak joined the ICA staff in 2017, serving ICA Connections and Small Groups. She loves her husband Edmund and their 6 sons and their families. The Schlaks came from Iowa to Ukraine to work as Assemblies God Missionaries in 2014. Ed teaches at Evangel Theological University. He also enjoys greeting at the front door by the posters. Linda enjoys various ministry projects. She loves being on the front row to see God's hand in many lives in Ukraine. She loves working with people from Ukraine and all over the world whom God sends to Kyiv for their growth and His glory. She loves walking in Kyiv, coffee meetings, riding bike trails in Iowa and family vacations.
RAFI & TANYA ISSA
Rafi & Tanya have been leading our Arabic congregation since 2012. Rafi is originally from Syria and Tanya is from Ukraine. They have two beautiful daughters. Rafi studies for a postgraduate degree in oboe (music) and has a master's degree in Christian leadership. Rafi teaches in different seminaries and mission schools in Ukraine. Tania has a postgraduate degree in history, enjoys writing and reading. They both like tasty food, fellowship with friends, and evangelizing people around.
OUR ELDERS
Pavlo & Vira Vashchyshyn
Pavlo and Vira Vashchyshyn attended ICA since the very beginning. Both have been integral part to the growth of our community. In 2016 they felt called to help develop one of our church cites in Kolentsi and begin a bible study. Along with the team, they continue ministering through sermons and spiritual growth.
As they begin to serve in the elders capacity, Vira took on a role of leading our prayer team on Wednesdays. Both Pavel and his wife are a blessing to ICA Kyiv.
